Worldwide Vegan Climate March - St. Louis, MO
Join us as we march to the Arch for climate justice, animal rights, and a livable future for all life on Earth!
Why? We deserve a world free from the environmental devastation caused by animal agriculture!
Through this worldwide day of action, we will:
✔️ expose animal ag’s insidious role in the present ecological crisis
✔️ champion veganism as an environmental imperative
✔️ demand a plant-based, veganic food system
Animal agriculture accounts for more greenhouse gas emissions than every mode of transportation on Earth combined. We therefore cannot achieve climate justice without addressing the cow in the room.
In recognition of this fact, we call upon governments, businesses, and everyday citizens to:
1️⃣ embrace veganism
2️⃣ end subsidies to animal ag
3️⃣ endorse the Plant Based Treaty
We have a handful of years to prevent the worst impacts of climate change. Join the Vegan Climate March movement today—before it’s too late!

Vegans at St. Louis Earth Day
Join us at St. Louis Earth Day Festival as we:
✅ showcase the growing strength of the vegan movement
✅ raise awareness about the many environmental benefits of a plant-based lifestyle
✅ champion veganism as an essential solution to the climate crisis
📖 The Hard-Hitting Facts: Why Veganism Matters for the Planet 📖
🌍 Land Use: If we stopped raising animals for food, we would free up an area of land roughly the size of Africa. This land could be reforested and rewilded, restoring critical habitats for wildlife and creating vast carbon sinks to help combat climate change.
🐮 Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Animal agriculture contributes more greenhouse gas emissions than all modes of transportation combined—including cars, trucks, planes, and trains—even according to the most conservative estimates.
🏭 Climate Crisis: Even if we eliminated all fossil fuel use today, we would still exceed our 565-gigaton CO₂-equivalent emissions limit by 2030—solely due to animal agriculture! Achieving true climate justice is therefore impossible without addressing the cow in the room.
These staggering statistics make one thing clear: a vegan world isn't just better for animals—it's essential for the survival of humanity and the planet!
✨ How You Can Help ✨
Help us make veganism a key part of the St. Louis Earth Day Festival by:
1️⃣ RSVPing to this event page to show your support
2️⃣ stopping by our booth to learn and engage with the community
3️⃣ tabling with us to help raise awareness and inspire change
🌱 Why St. Louis Earth Day Festival? 🌱
With over 20,000 attendees, St. Louis Earth Day is one of the largest Earth Day celebrations in the country, attracting passionate environmentalists and eco-conscious consumers alike.
This festival provides a powerful platform to highlight the undeniable link between veganism and sustainability. By engaging with attendees, we can spark meaningful conversations, challenge misconceptions, and inspire real change toward a more compassionate, climate-friendly world.
There's no better place to amplify the message that veganism isn't just a lifestyle choice—it's an environmental imperative!

Pet Connection Protest: Save the Bunnies!
Join us as we protest Pet Connection, a local pet store that sells bunnies from breeders!
Why? Because:
⛔️ Rabbits aren’t “starter pets”—they’re high-maintenance, long-term commitments.
😿 Pet store suppliers abuse rabbits and keep them in horrific conditions.
⚰️ 80% of rabbits bought as Easter gifts are abandoned or die within the first year!
Many people who buy rabbits end up regretting it, but it’s the animals who end up suffering.
As part of this protest, we will:
❌ pressure Pet Connection to stop selling rabbits from breeders
💰 raise awareness about the problems associated with selling bunnies for profit
🐰 encourage people to adopt rabbits from local shelters instead
Missouri has many wonderful rescues with plenty of young rabbits in need of homes. Here are some of them:
Even large corporations source their bunnies from local rescues now. If Petco and PetSmart can do it, so can Pet Connection!
🚚 LOGISTICS:
This event will be held in two parts: 1) Friday, April 18th, from 5-6 p.m. and 2) Saturday, April 19th, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The main protest will take place during peak business hours on Saturday, their busiest day of the week, but we encourage you to make both actions if you can.
Whatever you do, please help us oppose animal cruelty this Easter season!
