17 volunteers joined us for an orientation as we jump-start our 2026 activities!

✊💚🐷 Thank you to the 17 spectacular volunteers who joined us at our Vegan Volunteer Orientation at Bombay Food Junkies!

Together, we savored Bombay Food Junkies and Plant Italia’s culinary delights, delighted in each other’s company, and explored volunteer opportunities with our local Project Animal Freedom chapter.

In particular, we discussed current and prospective roles we would like to add to the team, from event and campaigns coordinators to a donor engagement specialist and additional STL Vegan Market leadership.

We are excited to help usher in ~70 events this year, create new campaigns, and expand existing programs. From St. Louis Veganuary to STL Vegan Market, our volunteers are revved up for the new year and all the opportunities it brings!

All told, our main program at this event only lasted 40 minutes. The rest was spent having a mirthful time with each other, with plenty of cheers, jaunts, and laughs to go around.
