World Day for the End of Fishing protest in St. Louis

VeganSTL and Project Animal Freedom joined activists worldwide for the World Day for the End of Fishing in St. Louis on March 28, 2026, protesting outside Red Lobster on South Lindbergh Boulevard to advocate for fish rights and an end to the fishing industry.

✊📆🐟 Join us as we fight to abolish the fishing industry!

As part of this worldwide day of action, we will:

  • 1️⃣ champion the rights, lives, and wellbeing of fishes

  • 2️⃣ expose the environmental devastation caused by the fishing industry

  • 3️⃣ demand an end to this cruel and destructive industry once and for all

Fishes are arguably the most neglected beings on the planet, and they are killed by the trillions in some of the cruelest ways imaginable.

Last year, 157 organizations from 31 countries joined forces as part of the Worldwide Day for the End of Fishing. We are proud to join that list again this year, bringing this powerful international campaign back to St. Louis.

Please join us as we:

  • ✔️ raise awareness about the suffering of fishes

  • ✔️ combat the environmental destruction caused by the fishing industry

  • ✔️ inspire kinder food choices that respect fishes and the planet

Together, we can topple this barbaric industry for good. What are you waiting for?

This event is part of VeganSTL’s ongoing calendar of vegan events and animal rights advocacy in St. Louis, Missouri. Hosted by Project Animal Freedom.
